Because of repeated clutch problems with my 2000 Chevrolet Tracker my regular auto shop suggested I go to a transmission shop and have them look at it. Well, I dropped my vehicle off at Transmission Specialists. They jacked up the vehicle and stated the clutch needed to be replaced and there was nothing wrong with the transmission. Furthermore, there was no charge. I appreciate the honesty of the Transmission Specialists. Thank you Transmission Specialists!

I waited almost two months after the TRC reman installation for my 02 Tacoma to make sure all things I said is verifiable... so here is my great take so for: 1. Pre-install Inquiries/supports: It was super experience. Donna is very patient and supportive to address my constant inquires. Don (owner) is very knowledgeable on the all over reman products market landscape and know his stuff well, yes he may sounded push the TRC reman sale a bit some time but ultimately he is sincere to make sure I understand what I am getting, he is also fun to talk with and very thorough to make sure I understand the technical aspects of the reman products available. Yes another Don (Don's right hand man) is very knowledge on the installation part, I took my tacoma back for a schedule inspection to make sure all things well and he even help me test and inspect my brake problem to address a concern I have (completely not related issue), for free. 2. Performance: So far so good, my reman TRC box is performing as expected and I had put on about 500 miles on it so far. I have tried to shift gear uphill/downhill and/or with loads constantly to make sure it can take the abuse and am not disappoint yet. My wife and son noticed the interior noise is lower after the TRC installation. 3. Bottomline: If problem(s) does arrive some point down the road before the 3y unlimited miles warranty expiration, I know this 3D team will be ready to bail me out.

Incredible people! On a long road trip into WA from Montana, my dusty old mini-van's tranny started acting up badly near Mt. Rainier. I limped into Transmission Specialists unannounced. Busy as they were, they immediately attended to me. Don looked over my vehicle carefully, hooked up and read his computer readout (most firms charge at least $50 just for this), said my tranny oil was low so he put in about a pint and then gave me the rest and opined, somewhat hesitatingly, that I might make it back to Montana if I was careful (e.g., keep the heat down by not using the air conditioning). He wouldn't take any payment! Thanks, Don. And thanks to the wonderfully kind receptionist who connected me to their staff and let me and my family use their restroom. I drove the van another 800 plus miles and arrived safely back to Montana. THANKS!!!
